Prone Studio creates stunning visuals using our home-brewed combination of technology and mixed-media. We work with directors, writers, artists, illustrators and animators to bring stories to life. We’re skilled at both conception and execution, from writing and development to putting on the final polish.
Who We Are
Prone Studio is the brainchild of creative director Abbey Luck. Abbey was a director for over 10 years at Awesome + Modest, a boutique animation studio based in Los Angeles. Her experience covers a vast range of production techniques in both live action and animation. Over her many years in the industry, she has worked as a writer, director, producer, voice actor, storyboard artist, animator, set designer, illustrator, and installation artist. She had her first job in middle school picking strawberries on a farm with a group of El Salvadorians, and her work ethic hasn’t slowed since. Her client list includes Disney, Comedy Central, Esquire, MTV Films, Ebay, AOL, Genentech, Chanel and more.
